2008 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC)

28 year old professional female recently quit City life in London in attempt to get more fresh air in her life! would like to take part in the ARC 2008 as I will be in Las Palmas having helped an acquaintance out preparing his (fully crewed) boat and deliver it from Lanzarote. Happy to cover ARC entry costs & my share of victualling for the trip. Just returned from a delivery trip from Acudia (Mallorca) to Vilamoura, (S Portugal) so have experience in watch systems and living aboard and getting on with crew previously unbeknown to me! Have ISAF Offshore, Sea Survival & 1st Aid qualifications. Taken Dayskipper theory in September 08 and working towards Dayskipper practical with Dream Or Two Ltd (Gosport). Awful weather in 5day course prevented us completing whole syllabus (boat handling etc)- enjoy sailing in warmer climates! Please get in touch if you have a space!
